We have been most impressed with the professional approach that "The Swamp Frog" tree consultants/arborists bring to their work. Our most recent job for the team to fell a magnificent Morton Bay fig. That was too close to the house. A challenging commission but managed with great skill and expertise. It left us feeling like we were all, in safe hands. The whaanau from Te Kooraha Marae in Tahaaroa are beyond grateful for the mahi that Swampfrog Environmental & Tree Consultants undertook in December 2021. Swampfrog went over and above the services we engaged them for, which was felling our century old Macrocarpa raakau. Although not native to Aotearoa, they represented a place in time and memories of our tuupuna. The job was executed with precision and professionalism under the wise council of our ruruhi. In addition, Swampfrog gifted Te Kooraha Marae, 100 native raakau from Kaawhia Moana Native Nursery. Now that Takurua has arrived, we will plant our natives at our whaanau planting day on 30 July 2022, where our Maccies once stood. Swampfrog are helping us to create a legacy for our tamariki and mokopuna. Swampfrog did a job for us on our farm. They cleared large trees from the roadside, some stump grinding, and clearing large tree area for our driveway. The team completed this in a very tidy professional and timely manner. The team were great to deal with and we will use again.

It has been a pleasure to partner with Swamp-frog on a couple of environmental projects Their vast knowledge of te Taiao and Matauranga Maori practises allowed an opportunity for Te Taniwha o Waikato marae collective to relive some of the Korero from our kaumātua, tupuna on the principles and practises of kaitiakitanga and it’s practical application in todays trying times. Human demands on our Taiao brings about its challenges and Swamp-frog has always provided us with support and simple solutions to complex issues. Solutions that enhances western science environmental theories in a culturally appropriate way. By using culturally sound methods of Kaitiakitanga (indigenous knowledge, practises and principles) proves that we continue to strive to lead change in the way that we view our Whenua and it’s surroundings, we are all interconnected, basically each needing the other to survive.
